Whenever I could, I would drink this delicious, watermelon thirst-quencher. It would just hit-the-spot and was a decadent delight from water. At my first sip, it became an instant favorite. Cold, refreshing, sweet watermelon soothed the heat in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Still the best on hot summer days.
Ingredients:
2 cups cubed watermelon
1 cup ice cubes
2 Tablespoons Simple Syrup*
In a blender add watermelon, ice cubes, and simple syrup. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
* Simple syrup is made with one part sugar and one part water. Add equal parts of sugar and hot water together. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool and use to taste.
